Mr. Q Gets Married

A few weeks ago the Kindergarten classes at Tyler's school held a Mr. Q and Ms. U wedding to solidify the concept that Q and U go together. Each class had representatives to stand in as Mr. Q and Ms. U. Tyler was chosen to represent his class as Mr. Q. When Tyler heard the news he was NOT happy. He was scared and didn't want to do it. We tried to reward him and talk him into doing it but he was in tears over it. We finally had to send a note to his teacher so she could talk to him about it. After talking to his teacher and with the promise of Sonic ice cream from Mom and Dad, Tyler agreed to participate. He was so cute and happy that he did it. It wasn't really a big deal. He didn't have to do anything other than stand there but we were proud of him for overcoming his fears and doing it. He enjoyed the attention and was glad he did it. The ceremony was cheesy but cute.
